Why "Entr'acte?"
Entr'acte is French for "between the acts." It is also the term used for the music performed before the second act - a device to segue the audience back from intermission and into the world of of the show.
We see Entr'acte PDX as a device used between acts too. In our case, it's a device to engage musical theatre performers and artists between shows. Through our activities, we hope to celebrate the Musical Theatre art form and to enrich and advance our local theatre community.
Entr'acte = Interact
